Getting the Hang of Walking

Yesterday Elijah turned 10 months old and I started to notice a marked difference in his ability to walk. He took his first steps about 3 weeks ago and has slowly made little improvements here and there. However, yesterday and today he's really starting to look more like a regular person when he walks instead of like a drunken sailor (okay, he still does the drunken sailor thing quite a bit, but at least he's a bit more steady on his feet and able to walk for longer distances). He can even turn around while standing up and take a few steps in the opposite direction and when he's trying to find his balance, he often takes several steps backwards before falling down. It's been loads of fun to watch. I know it won't be long before he is walking without falling and even running.
