Jerod's mom has been working very hard this year with her schooling, especially
her most recent summer school class. After she finished a huge paper and was finally done with her work for school, we decided to go to McDonalds and grab an ice cream cone as way of celebrating the end of her class. Since it was around dinner time, she graciously offered to get us some dinner and thus, Elijah got his first Happy Meal. It was his first time to eat chicken nuggets and he wasn't too sure about it at first. I had peeled away the fried portion so he could eat the chicken more like how he's used to having it, but he decided the box was more interesting than the chicken. After playing with the box for quite some time, he finally started pecking away at the chicken nugget and actually really enjoyed them. He never even touched the one chicken nugget from which I had peeled away the outer layer. Guess he's a true American who likes his fried foods ;-)
