On December 30th, my mother-in-law took our family to the Tech Museum in San Jose to see the Star Trek exhibit. It was our Christmas present from her and was such a fun treat. Jerod and I have followed several of the Star Trek series and enjoyed seeing the deck of the original Star Trek, many of the uniforms that were used in the shows, models of start ships, and other fun paraphernalia. Elijah and I even got to be beamed up by Scotty in the transporter. Elijah also took his first ride on a carousel. As with many new first-time experiences, he had his stoic face on as he tried to take in this new information. He stayed on much longer than I anticipated before he asked to come down off the horse. The whole day was loads of fun and really tired out the little guy. In fact, he fell asleep at 4:30 pm while we were driving home and didn't wake up until 5:50 am the next day. I believe that's the longest period of time he's slept in his whole 15 months of life.

Walking accross the street with Daddy (Elijah is growing up so quickly)
They had a Shark's hockey goalie exhibit that Elijah got a kick out of
Trying to poke Dad in the face through the hockey mask (a puck may not get through, but his little fingers will)
