On Saturday we had the opportunity to attend a very dear friend's wedding. Elijah had so much fun running around with the other children there and also enjoyed chasing after the cat which was on the premises. You can tell Elijah is a city boy because any animal or critter just peaks his curiosity. We are staying at the TEAM office here in Zim and there are chickens being raised in the back yard. Every morning the first thing he says when he wakes up is chickens (or rather he does the sign in sign language for chickens and attempts to say chickens verbally which sound nothing like chickens at all). He wants nothing more than to be outside all day long and playing with other children or interacting with animals. It has been such a joy to watch him adjust to life here in Zimbabwe.
