It's been a long time since I've been able to celebrate Mother's Day with my mom, so this year was a special treat. Mom had been visiting from Ohio to help my sister-in-law with her recovery from surgery. We had a couple visits to see her while she was staying with them, but I got to have the last days of her stay all to myself which was a lot of fun.
My mom is an amazing woman. She tirelessly gives of herself to others, she puts people ahead of herself, she comes alongside to help alleviate burdens, and she lends an ear when needed. It was wonderful to have her with us this Mother's Day. Here are a few pictures of our day.
