Elijah has a tendency to be a little clinging first thing in the morning when he wakes up. Most of the time its very sweet because he just wants to be near me or have me hold him. But you also have to understand my personality and that I tend to have the most energy first thing in the morning and want to get as many things done as I can while the energy is present.
So, this morning I wanted to do some things on the computer and found that the best diversion was placing a bunch of Cheerios all throughout the living room so Elijah could walk around and find them. It kept him busy for long enough that I could write this blog. Actually, I was able to write two blogs this morning but had to put out more Cheerios in between.
