Wearing Winter Clothes in Summer?

The past couple of mornings have been very cold and overcast around here...not at all like the summers I'm used to in what has been coined "Sunny California." Elijah and I have gotten into the habit of walking early in the morning to miss the heat of the day, but for the past week or more, it's been so cold, I've had to bundle him up in a sweatshirt and long pants. Below is a picture...even Elijah doesn't like it too much.





But even with the cold mornings, the clouds have dissipated by around 11 am and then it's gotten warm enough for swimming. Elijah has really started to enjoy the water a lot and loves going to the pool. The best part of it for me, is that it wears him out and helps him sleep better at night ;-) Below is a picture of us coming back from the pool. I found this adorable little terrycloth wrap that has a duck's bill and face for the hood. You can't see it very well in this picture, but he looks so adorable in it.
