Highlights from the Haskins: Decorate Your Bedroom Door

In continuing with our "Countdown to Christmas," tonight's activity was "Decorate your bedroom door." First we picked out some wrapping paper...

Then, we cut out the paper (Elijah did a pretty good job even though he wasn't able to cut through the whole length of the roll).

The last two activities we did weren't exactly ones that Megan could participate in, but this time she had fun getting into the middle of it all and I even let her chew on a roll of wrapping paper.

Then we put up Christmas decorations that Elijah had made in the past couple years. At first he just put them as high as his arms could reach...

Then he realized that Megan might still be able to reach his decorations and pull them down, so we got the ladder out and he put them up at the very top of the door...
