This year we have decided to try something new and perhaps it will become a family tradition. Each day in the month of December we will have a different family activity to help us celebrate the Christmas season. I got this idea from a friend at church and have decided to give it a try. Each morning Elijah will pick out an activity from a special jar, then we will find a time during the day to do the activity together as a family.
Here Elijah is reading the activity he has picked (I also put pictures on the slips of paper so he could get a better idea of what we were doing)
Today's activity was to put together a hygiene kit to help one of the local ministries that our church supports.
Here is the end result with Elijah showcasing the items we were able to get together to help someone in need. Who knows what tomorrow's activity will bring, but we are sure looking forward to it!
