Recently someone told us about the kid workshops that Home Depot does on the first Saturday of every month. Today we decided to check it out for the first time. We had so much fun. Elijah got his own little pin for participating, got to use a real hammer, nails, screws and screwdriver, and made his own picture frame. It was truly a fun time! Megan was a trooper too and didn't electrocute herself even though she was very interested in the outlets and all the cords. Here are some of the pictures from our morning at Home Depot.
The project for today was a picture frame. Elijah looked at the picture directions and put the nails in all by himself to hammer.
Hammering was his favorite part.
Then he got to practice screwing in some screws which was difficult at first but he soon got the hang of it.
The finished product.
Elijah wanted to take some pictures too so he asked me to make a silly face
These are Megan's feet while she was feeding (Elijah felt she needed to be documented as well ;-)
