Hot Chocolate

Tonight's activity was one for which Elijah has been waiting a long time. You see, the day before we started our little countdown to Christmas Elijah asked if he could have some hot chocolate. We really only drink it during the holidays because it's something fun and special, and he didn't realize I had put it as one of our family activities. So I told him he would have to wait. I had written all of this weeks activities down, folded them up, and put them in a jar for him to pick out at random. I have to admit, he was slightly disappointed the first day when it wasn't the hot chocolate activity. Today, after five days of waiting, he finally picked the activity he wanted!

And of course we had to do it all up special, so we had special holiday colored marshmallows...

A little bit of chocolate syrup to make it look cool on top...

And a few mini chocolate chips and a twizzler just for fun.

Oh so yummy!
